View from Golden Mile Trail

We would like to thank the very friendly group from Bakersfield California for staying with us at Desert Gem RV Resort. It was nice to see our neighbors to the south enjoy themselves in our beautiful valley. The men went and played golf at Fairview golf course while the women got adventurous and hiked the Golden Mile Trail then had lunch at Miradoro restaurant at the Tinhorn winery. When they were finished lunch they picked cherries at one of the local orchards and dropped by some of the roadside fruit markets on their way back to the park. Every day they were out doing something and enjoying the great sunny weather.

We hope they have a safe trip back to Bakersfield and can visit us again next year.
